TOWARDS A MORE RESULT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT COMMUNICATION IN NIGERIA
The basic assumption of Development Communication theories is that development ideas, values and strategies could be propagated through effective
communication. At the do main of this 'assumption' is the mass media with the potential for generating and communicating such ideas, values and strategies for the achievement of development goals. The major thrust of this paper is to examine the various approaches imperative for effective development communication in the Nigerian context.
