University of Nigeria Interdisciplinary Journal of Communication Studies focuses on contemporary/emerging issues, trends, and developments/innovations in all aspects of communication and society. It aims at providing an interdisciplinary forum for scholarship in all spheres of communication studies and advocacy across all disciplines. This is targeted at using communication to solve problems facing humanity and the world. The idea is to bring together scholars from various disciplines and constitute a critical forum for the study of communication from the perspectives of interdisciplinarity, and showcase the relevance and commonality of interest between communication and various disciplines, to provide communication offerings for the sustainable advancement of humanity and the world. The journal offers a transdisciplinary opportunity for cross-fertilization of ideas to optimize the use of communication in problem-solving.
