Abstract

This study reveals that contrary to the claim and wishes of Nigerian government to use the radio medium for rural mobilization for development, more coverage attention was still given to urban centres by the radio stations studied. The rural areas remained poorly reported. Those that tended to receive a relatively higher coverage attention were closer to the urban centre.
