Abstract

Development and behaviour change are achievable when the right communication process is applied. A tried and trusted communication planning and implementation model like the one designed by UNICEF - Assessment, Communication Analysts:- Design and Action (ACADA) -- throws into relief the vital steps/ procedures that must be followed in order to achieve set goals/ targets in a clearer, scientific manner. This presentation explains the steps involved in the ACADA model and concludes-that critical to the success of the model are total quality management (TQM) and continuous quality improvement (CQI).
